How the other “half” lives: Watchismo. Describes, what else, watches. Prices are rarely mentioned. Price does not have to be, at that point. As the old saying goes, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it. It is only the truly stupendously expensive watches, like $900,000 models, that warrant a price mention. The products covered are truly amazing pieces, into which someone has obviously put a huge amount of time and effort and design. That’s the point, after all, or at least one of them, to display on your person an indicator of your importance, your class status, or just your wealth (class!=wealth!=status!=power, after all). Apart from such meta commentary, this is the opposite of “technology” as it is commonly understood, as a democratizing force, putting ever more functionality into cheaper and faster devices.
